Tigers Shut out Walt Whitman
Northport 4, Whitman 0: Nick Palmerini pitched a complete game one-hitter with eight strikeouts and no walks to lead Northport (12-5) in Suffolk II. Palmerini took a perfect game into the seventh before allowing a leadoff hit to start the inning. Joe Stockman went 4-for-4 with a RBI and DL Rodriguez went 2-for-3 with a run and a RBI.
